Jump into the spirit of summer with Art Exploration!
This series of classes is a fun and exciting way to introduce students to a variety of artist's materials at an early age, while they use their imaginations to create artwork during Monster Mash Mondays, Tiny Traveler Tuesdays, Wilderness Wednesdays, Team-Time Thursdays and Festival Fridays.  Students will be guided through the Museum grounds for artistic inspiration found in the sculpture garden and nature paths (weather permitting), and will have the unique chance to visit the Museum to look at and discuss the current exhibition.

Art From Nature
Ages 8-12
Instructors Konstance Patton and Landry Randriamandroso
Course # SV1B (Session 1) or SV2B (Session 2)
$750 members, $850 non-members
$40 materials fee

Each class will include outside exploration, where we will sketch from life and collect materials to be used for in-class activities to create nature inspired art.  Traditional (painting, sculpture) and non-traditional materials (recycled materials, natural objects) will be explored, while developing creativity, social, observation and critical thinking skills.
