On Saturday, July 16 at the Nassau County Museum of Art, Paul Roth, Executive Director of the Richard Avedon Foundation, will lead a discussion about famed photographer Richard Avedon, whose artistry changed the face of fashion photography. The discussion begins at 3pm and costs $20 for non-members and $10 for members. The fee includes museum admission.
Additionally, one of the Museum’s donors will present a talk on Avedon’s work and his impact on fashion and portrait photography. These discussions will be included in the Museum’s “Brown Bag Lectures” series and take place on Thursday, July 21 and Thursday, August 18, from 1-2pm in the library. Bring a sandwich and enjoy the discussion about the legendary Avedon.
