To all Parents Whom Have Children Interested in Travel baseball and whose children are of the following ages (but who do not already play for the Hurricanes Team coached by Jon Perlow and Kenny Eccher):
· Children that are 12U (who are 12 on or before April 30, 2011),
· 11U (who are 11 on or before April 30, 2011) or
· 10U (who are 10 on or before April 30, 2011)
There will be a workout for those children interested in playing travel baseball so that existing Travel Coaches can work out these children and get a sense of the level of ability and interest. There will be at least one 12U team and one other travel team (either 11U or 10U) that will compete over the summer. There is no guarantee of the number of spots that will be available. The potential composition of the teams and the age group of the second team will be decided upon based partially on this workout although formal tryouts will be held at a later date. The workout will be held Sunday (May 15) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Willis Ave fields.
